Great News!
Yesterday I was informed that the film has been selected to screen at the 2006 Cucalorus Film Festival here in Wilmington, NC. This is our first official selection! And what a great honor. We are part of the first 35 films that have been selected to promote the initial film schedule for this years festival!

With pleasure, sorrow, and euphoric chaos, Cucalorus congratulates you! Alongside three shouts of pointless joy, we announce that your film, The Calming, is one of our early selections into the 12th Annual Cucalorus Film Festival! As one of 35 films tagged as an early selection, your film really was truly remarkable.
Cucalorus 12 will be held November 8-11, 2006 in wonderful downtown Wilmington, North Carolina.
Cucalorus will include screenings of over 100 of the finest independent films which we could find, some really dazzling and educational workshops, a few lectures, and of course - outrageous parties thrown in your honor which taper on into the wee hours of the night.
